Alan Dzagoev, is an 18 year old midfielder playing his football with CSKA Moscow.
Alan has only this season broken into the CSKA Main squad. He was an unused sub in the first few games of the season, then on turn 7 (26th April) came on as a 90th Minute substitution to make his debut).
2 turns later due to Jo's departure, in CSKA's game against Khimki, Alan got his first start upfront for the Russian side and managed to hit a goal as-well.
Dzagoev started off his career in the youth teams of Yunost Vladikavkaz from the age of 10 - 16. When he was 16 he got scouted by Russian 2nd division club Krylia Sovetov-SOK.
With Krylia he played 37 games in his first season scoring 6 goals. Yes... you heard right, despite only being 16 he only missed 1 game!
It wasn't long before bigger clubs were interested in the 17 year old. In-fact just 1 month after the end of the season CSKA Moskva beat UEFA Champions Zenit to signing a contract with him.
In his first season at CSKA (this season), he was put straight into the first team, training with the likes of Jo and Vagner Love.
In-fact it was Jo's departure which saw Dzagoev get his debut on turn 7 of the season.
Since then he has managed to break into the first team and is playing very impressive football. So Impressive that he has been called up to the Russian national team for there game against Germany!
